Microsoft .NET Framework error

I have an error box on my screen that won't go away. It states that an
unhandled exception has occurred in a component of teh application. If I
click continue (as it prompts me to) it comes right back. Restarting the
computer doesn't fix the problem. Is there a way to re-insatll the OS to fix
the problem from the disk I have, or an online Microsoft tool to resolve?

More complete nonsense from Andrew E., our resident troll. You should run
whatever version of .net framework the program you are running requires. The
..net framework 2.0 is *not* a replacement for earlier versions.
