Microsoft .Net Framework Error

I'm trying to install a program I downloaded from Kinko's web site that will
allow me to covert files to a .kdf file-type so they can print the file for
me without paying a $10 conversion fee.

When I try to install the program I get an error message that says "MS .Net
Framework - The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that
is unavailable. Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the
installation package NETFX.MSI in the box below". When I click "cancel" I
get a message reading "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product
MS. NET Framework. The Windows installer cannot continue". Then I get a
message reading "SL33.tmp - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services.
Process id=0xe90 (3728), Thread id=0xe98 (3736)".

How do I fix this?

Do you have MS.Net installed? You can check in Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs, if it's not installed you need to install it.

From Kinko's support/faq's:
<quote>
What is the Microsoft .NET Framework and why do I need to install it?
Microsoft .NET is software for connecting people, information, systems, and
devices. The Microsoft .NET Framework provides core services used by File,
Print FedEx Kinko's to manage online access, security, and versioning,
resulting in greater ease of use and reliability. If the File, Print FedEx
Kinko’s installation program detects that the .NET Framework is not
installed on your computer, you will be automatically prompted to install
it.

To learn more about Microsoft's .NET Framework, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/net.

Go to the Windows Update site and install the Microsoft .NET Framework from
the Optional Updates section. Given a choice, I would install the .NET
Framework 1.1 unless the application is specifically asking for 2.0.

I checked in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel and I
already have "Microsoft .Net Framework (English) v1.0.3705" and "Microsoft
..Net Framework 1.1".

I went to the Updates section of the Microsoft website and it said that two
of the updates I need to download are "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.0 Service
Pack 3" and "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1". However, I have
Service Pack 2, so why would I need either of these?

Yes. You need the .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. I think it is
probably safe to uninstall the 1.0 Framework.
