Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2006

Hi, I am using win xp and Digital Image Standard 2006, but cannot seem to
locate a cloning tool. If there is none, can I get a plug in for it please?

also is there an update or a later edition to it with more editing options?
I am using also Adobe Photohop Elements 5, but prefer using Digital Image
some of the time. I really would like an upgrade to it or more plugins.
I would appreciate any suggestions or help.
Thank you.

Open your image in Digital Image. Click on Touch up on the top bar and then
the Clone brush on the opening list.

If you like DI (and I like it also, as well as using PE5) the last version
is the Anniversary version and Microsoft will no longer provide newer
versions.

Clone Brush should be found under Touch Up.

I don't have a copy of the Standard edition
for comparison but it may not include all of
the editing tools that are in Digital Image Suite.

Maybe you could find a copy of:
"Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary
Edition". It contains the complete set of tools
and is compatible with Vista in case you decide
to upgrade your OS.

There's a 60 day trial version that contains the
complete set of editing tools but I'm concerned
that it may conflict in some way with the 2006
version you have already installed.

If you decide to try a new program...
Corel Paint Shop Pro may be worth a look.

Hi Sabina,
I would agree with the knowledgeable John Inzer, have a look at Corel
Paint Shop Pro.
I have been using the program for years...won't break the bank and at
present there is a new version out on a 30 day trial.
