Messages lost or lagged

Hi,

i use the Windows Messenger 5.0. Some colleagues use also 5.0 or Messenger
4.7. We work behind a firewall. The sign in process works fine and the
online/offline status seems also to work. (In the Connection-options, i can
see, that the messenger use the proxy-settings of my ie)
But sth strange happens when we want to instant message. Sometimes it takes
up to minutes that a message appears on the other side, sometimes an answer
never appears.

Have someone note some similiar effects or is this a special behaviour here?

I have exactly the same problem, its been happening to me
ever since I upgraded from 56k to ADSL and got a router.
Can anyone help?

I get exactly the same problem with msn messenger 6.2 or
windows messenger. Its been happening ever since I upgraded
to ADSL from 56k and got a router. Can anyone help?
