Message when I open a mpg file

I use MM 2.1 for years and I like it. Today I tryed to import a mpg file
which I often imported and I never got an error. Today I got the error
message:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\helscha\Lokale Einstellungen\Eigene
Dateien\Pinnacle Studio\Captured Video\>>>>> Photoshoot.mpg konnte nicht
importiert werden. Eine Schnittstelle hat zu viele Methoden zum Auslösen von
Ereignissen <<<<<

Can you explain me why?

Movie Maker doesn't work with MPEG-2 files... see my website's Import Movie
Source Files > Video > MPEG page.
