message "an interface has too many methods to fire from"

I am trying to capture video from my JVC GRD700 cam, everything goes ok until I get to the section where I wish to continue after selecting the video setting. I choose video for broadband 512kb as this is what I have been advised to do by my webmaster. The message "an interface has too many methods to fire from" then appears and I can go no further. Can anyone please help?

I'm not too sure asbout your error message, but the capture to video for
broadband bit caught my eye. Is the captured video going straight to the
web? If so this is fine, if not capture to dv-avi, which is as uncompressed
as you can get and edit etc, then save the movie as a dv-avi. You can then
import this in to windows encoder 9 (free download from M/S) and encode it
suitably for your web application. You may try this anyway and see if it
helps, whilst waiting for a more definative answer.

Hi there,

Its irrelevant what broadband or otherwise setting you are using
here....its just a file that's all.

The error message you describe is often encountered when MPEG or MPG and
sometimes MP3 files are used in the project.

It can also occur when movie maker selects a codec that is not
suitable...movie maker has no options for choosing which Codecs can be used
or must never be used.

If this "might be" a codec issue you can get a program called "Rename
Codecs" from my website. If you do this please first check out the short
tutorial on how to use the program. The tutorial is slightly out of date
because of the new addition for Auto Renaming and Auto Restoring. Other
than that its fine.
