An Interface has too many..........

Steve Kingston

When trying to capture video from my JVC GRD50 I get the
message "An interface has too many methods to fire events
from". Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?

Hi there,

The message you describe usually occurs when trying to import MPEG files.
Is that the output type from that camera???

Yes you are correct. The Capture works with the software
provided with the camera (PIXELA ImageMixer) but I would
rather use Movie Maker. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Playback/importing of MPEG2 content is completely dependent on the third
party MPEG2 decoder installed on your computer. Most do not work well. See
the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG2 page of my website.

I suggest converting the captured file to AVI for use in MM2.

Hi Steve,

No there is no real fix....there are a few botch up jobs suggested by a
certain person....the best way of dealing with it is either to import with
the software that came with it, or download MovieXone from my website.
MovieXone apart from being significantly better than Movie Maker in several
areas, knows all about MPEG files...the Parent company are CINEGY, you will
often see their company mentioned in the credits of blockbuster
films.....they no quite a lot about MPEGS, so you will not go far wrong
using them.
