Merging MP3 files

B

Bert Hibberd

I am on a hunt for a freeware program that will merge MP3 files.

So far (through a Google search) I have discovered "MP3AlbumMaker" and
"MP3 Merger". Having tried both, "MP3 Merger" seems the better.

There is another program "MP3 Surgeon" which is better than both the
above, but which is shareware.

Any suggestions beyond "MP3AlbumMaker" and "MP3 Merger"?

Thanks

Bert,

I use and like MP3Resizer. It does what the name implies Resizes. That
means it can join or split MP3 files by Time, Size, or Number of MP3s.
If you want it I'll post it in alt.binaries.freeware.

From your DOS prompt: copy a.mp3 /b + b.mp3 /b c.mp3

Where a.mp3 and b.mp3 are your file names. c.mp3 is the output file

Not recommended, as it's likely to make a file with an audible blip in the
middle or one that crashes players, especially if the mp3s have ID3 tags. :)

Works fine for me....
