Merging information from Excel

Is it possible to do a mail merge (or something similar) in PPT 2003. I have
a database that I would like to create a separate PPT for each record. I
have set up a template but do not know if it is possible to insert fields
from the database into the template like a Word Mail Merge.

What does your template look like? Is it possible to make something
that looks like the template in Excel by inserting graphics, etc. and
then use Excel itself to add data to each sheet?

No, it needs to be done in PPT. I found a similar posting from 2006 that
referred me to www.pptools.com and it looks like this add-in will work.
Otherwise I would need to program in VBA to make PPT work.

thanks

If your need is fairly complex then I don't think you can do better than
PPTMerge.

If it's fairly simple then we have a tutorial Esheet (with code) which may
be enough.

Email me with your needs and I'll tell you if it can do what you want.
