Table tents double PPT need to merge names from word/excel

Need to produce mass number of Table Tent cards (double). Usually do
manually in PPT since you can rotate text. Would like to merge names from
either Excel or Word but don't see how you can Merge in PPT. Tried Word for
Tent cards but can't rotate text unless you use Wordart, then couldn't merge
various names.

PowerPoint doesn't do merging on its own. There are a couple third party
add-ins that give it that ability. We have one, and there's a free demo at
http://merge.pptools.com

The idea of doing table tents in PPT has come up before, so I just added a set
