memory timings in ati tool

i Got a 9600 pro from gigabyte that i got o/c'ed at 425/250, use ati tool
and was wondering what advantage i could stand to get it i fiddle with
memory timings in ati tool.

as a fairly rough benchmark i get about 80+ fps in call of duty
and about 9000+ in 3d mark 2001, and about 1500 in 2005.

i'm not expecting a massive boost but is it worth the time to check out the
stability at all the different settings.

Thanks

It's probably not worth it, but you should check what type of RAM you
have on the card first. Then hunt down what timings it uses via Google
and see what it is using now. You might be able to get a small increase,
especialy if the manufacturer changes memory suppliers often..

Time for a 9700/9800Pro from eBay, me thinks *8)

thanks for that

the systems only 3 months old lol. Its all i could afford at the time.

just gonna wait till i got enough cash and get a 754 system (don't really
care about dual channel and pci express is great but can't afford it yet
either)

i got my eyes on a nice little 6600gt(love ati yes, but an x800 is not
exactly anywhere near budget)

425/250? I thought the standard clock speed for a 9600 Pro was already
400/300?

Anyway, don't you think 9000 is a bit on the meagre side for a 9600 Pro? I
scored around 10k with my Ati 8500 128 MB...

That was with my P4 2.0 'B' OC'd to 2.66 GHz..
