"memory could not be read" error in IE6

Guest

I'm getting a strange error.

The instruction at "0x7e1f9af3" referenced memory at "0x7dc48950". The
memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.

It started happening after I uninstalled IE7. Maybe something got corrupted?
Any help is appreciated.

2 possibilities

(1) Incompatible Add-Ons. What happens if you disable your Add-Ons
(2) Malware on your system.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
