Memory/add-on affects 'Cookies?'

Hi:
My computer is quite slow, due to its memory/RAM, only '256MB.'
Then, I want to make, "512 MB" in adding another '256 MB.'

My worry/concern over this is;
If I 'upgrade' my memory, from '256 to 512 MB,' is this change/upgrade
affect 'cookies?'
Because, there are many sites I need 'user's name' along with 'password'
in order to participate 'Support Group.' Then, if I open the case and
disconnect
all of 'plugs,' in order to install '256 MB'(buy from Circuit City), does
this
'wipe-out' all of user's names and passwords I saved each sites?

Thanks any helps,

No worries. Cookies are stored on your hard disk, and data on the hard disk
is not affected when you unplug the computer (you need to properly shut down
Windows first). Be sure to follow your computer manufacturer's directions
for working inside your computer and installing RAM. Take it slow and you'll
do fine.
