Media Player.........

Hi all, I was having probs with WMP 10 so decided to uninstall through
add/remove windows components. Then re-installed WMP 10, or tried to. It
won't re-install!! Says a newer version is already installed and running? Any
help would be greatly appreciated as I've run out of ideas. I tried to search
and delete all things WMP in safe mode and reinstall but no joy either.

Go to Start > Run and in the Run box copy, then paste, the following:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\setup_wm.exe"

Then hit the Enter key to reinstall Windows Media Player.
