Media player 11/ Video freezes

I recently up graded to media player 11 ( I have windows XP and McAfee) and
ever since when ever I open a video file after a few minutes/seconds the
video will freezed as well as the mouse/computer. The only way to fix it is
to reboot my computer and it’s getting very frustrating. Do you have any
idea how to repair it.

You could try going back to version 10 of the media player as version 11
still has quite a number of bugs. Do you have Nero Showtime? that is far more
stable.

Totally agree - excact same symptoms exact same solution. Nero works fine
