Media Center remote keyboard

Hi,

I have this keyboard, but do not use XP Media Centre on my machine. I want
to use this keyboard, as its a wireless keyboard with a intgrated mouse(and
they are rare), but I also now need to by the IR receiver which is available
often on ebay...

my question is this - The doco says that it will only work with Media Centre
PC's. I could understand that many of the buttons that are specific for
features in Media centre won;t work, but will at least the normal keys
work(and the mouse pointer).. or will i actually find that its a totally
'dead' keyboard outside of Windows Media Centre (which would be a shame)

I am desparate for a keyboard like this one, and would love to get this one
to basiclly work just as a standard keyboard.

I have exactly the same problem. I got that keyboard and it seems to work
only in MC, which is quite dumb in my opinion. I cannot believe there is no
way to get the keyboard working in normal XP...

If anyone has an idea to get this working, please let us know.
