Manually securing database

I have a workgroup info file say WIF1 and a database DB1 which I secured
through wizard. The shorcut points to WIF1 and opens DB1 on supplying
username and password. Now I am trying to secure another database say DB2
with the same same WIF1 but this time manually as the wizard doesn't provide
the option to link to an existing WIF (Please confirm this). I created a
shorcut which points to the same WIF1 but opens DB2. I logged in as the
administrator, say Admin1 in WIF1. I understand that I have to do the
following to secure DB2:
1. Set the owner of the database from Admin to Admin1
2. Change the ownership of each object in DB2 from Admin to Admin1
3. Remove all permissions from Admin and from Users
While logged in as Admin1, I was able to perform all these tasks except to
change the ownership of database to Admin1 and I also could not view
permissions related to 'database' object for 'Users' .This is preventing me
from securing DB2. How can I do it?

If you log into a blank database as admin1, then admin1 will be the owner of
that database. Then you should be able to import all objects from db2 into
your new database, and go about setting up permissions.

Open DB1 logging in as Admin1. Close DB1 but keep Access open. Create a
new blank database and check that Admin1 is the owner. Import all of the
objects from DB2 into the blank database.
