Manual Uninstallation of software

I am trying to uninstall all my soundblaster audigy 2 zs programs but it will only remove halfway. This is when I go through the Add/Remove Control Panel icon or the Installation CD's Removal program. I want to completley rid my computer of any soundblaster/creative stuff so I can reinstall it. The first install was buggy and now that I've fixed the computer to handle the sound card I can't reinstall the programs.

Use your original Install CD. When it Autoplays' it should have an
option "Remove All". Success will depend on whether you've tried
any manful operations to remove it.

That removes and reinstalls the card, doesn't uninstall all the
programs, settings already in place.

Before attempting manual cleanup, Have you tried reinstalling the software
(Choosing the same install options as originally used & "Location". After a
Reboot, then the Remove all should be able to run successfully.

I suppose System Restore isn't an option, since this has probably been
installed for a while ? Manual uninstall might be an option, but Creative
is close to Symantec in the number of folders/locations it puts on your
disk drive. Creative software doesn't appear in the Microsoft Installer
Cleanup too - so that's not an option. Maybe this uninstall problem is
local to your profile. About the only other thing I can suggest is to try
and uninstall it from another Administrator account, different from your
day-to-day account. Good Luck.
