Making DVD using both slideshows & video.

I have been attempting to make a hiking DVD using both a slide show and a
video file. I added music to the slide show and saved it to my computer. It
plays fine on media player, however when I try to make a DVD the music runs
into the video causing the sound on video not to match up.

I have seen this bug before with some DVD authoring applications, and it
seems to be caused by the fact that the image doesn't change for a whole
bunch of frames in the video. The workaround is to add the Ease In or the
Ease Out effect to each of your pictures. This
will cause the frames to change and you should no longer see the problem.
