DVD does not play on DVD player

Hello,
I made a DVD of my pictures including music background utilizing Windows
Movie Maker. The DVD plays fine on my computer using Widows Media Player but
it will not play on regular Sony or other DVD players so that I can watch it
on TV.

Please tell me what to do! Did I make the DVD in the wrong way? If possible
I'll take your instructions and do it again unless there is a compatibility
issue.

I'm having the same problem myself dvd wont play could you help plz!!

Saga

Windows Movie Maker cannot create a DVD that will play on a stand
alone DVD player. You need another application for that.
See John's advice :)

I downloaded DVD Flick. How can I open the movie I made in movie maker there
and create a watchable dvd?
