Make my broadcast available on the internet

R

RandyN

I am a total newbie to this and would appreciate any help anyone can
offer...I have been doing research for the past 2 days and I still
cannot get this scenario to work.

I have a Windows 2003 Stnd server running a website via IIS. I just
installed Windows Media Services on the same server. I want to make a
broadcast available to the visitors of the website.

Using the current setup, I am able to view the broadcast to computers
connected to the LAN (using the internal IP address or internal server
name), but not via the internet. I have tried to add a server with the
external ip address and get a RPC not available error.

Anyone that can help me out? I can provide much more info if needed...

Thanks!!
RandyN

Sorry - don't know why you posted this to an Outlook group - I would look at
posting in a group for your operating system and then look at the sub-group
specialized groups.
