Make an appointment in a contact & see it in activities like 2003

Malcolm

I used to be able to make an appointment with a contact (not a meeting
request) in Outlook2003 (now Ctrl+Shift+A)…
Now it seems I have lost some functions that I liked in 2003:
- I was able to add different people to the same appointment
- When I would be in a contact & check activities, I would see the
appointment(s)
- When in the calendar for the meeting; I would see whose contact(s) it was
associated with (sometimes I forget who the meeting is with …lol)
I am hoping these functions are still there …..
Would the business contact manager allow me to have this if it is no longer
part of the regular outlook?

Thanks, Malcolm

it still works that way. you need to show the contact field on
appointments - tools, options, contact options, contact linking option.

It's still available but the default is that it's turned OFF in Outlook
2007. Turn it back on here Tools | Options | Contact Options | Show Contact
Linking on all Forms.
