Is there anything in particular YOU are having trouble with in OE? There
are a few option changes and minimal add-ons that can make OE quite useful
and easy to use. Perhaps if you mention what YOU would like it to do
someone here can help you with it. If you have been using OE for a while
you will be dissapointed with other e-mail clients you try.

My current favorite is Foxmail. It has plenty of features, and a very
pretty GUI and its own dictionary. OE users can make the jump with
no trouble.

I downloaded and installed Foxmail 5. Last time I looked FM5 English
version wasn't out. Anyway, I thought Foxmail used .EML files as its native
format, but I must be confusing it with some other client. Does Foxmail use
the MBOX format or do you know?

Are you sure? Seems more of a personal opinion to me...

Can it be changed not to be Microsoft? ;o/

Plus of course OE has the added "feature" that every virus writer
targets it and its security holes. A bit like walking around with a
kick-me label (or worse) on ones back. Most would NOT be disappointed
to get rid of that feature I think.

What do you mean by good? What's good for me may be totally useless for
you. I use Eudora and it can be run in Light (free with reduced
functions) mode:

Why have you choosed that prior to Thunderbird and others?

Because I have been using Eudora before Thunderbird was even a glint in the
programmer's eye. I'm not sure exactly how long but I think it must be close
to 15 years now! It's a simple program with an easy to understand user
interface that does one thing and does it reasonably well.
