Is Windows Mail and Windows Live the same? Why am I being asked to change?
I'm quite comfortable with Windows Mail. If they are different, how can I
get rid of Windows Live? The insert keeps popping up on my screen. I have
some friends that are not too happy with them? Any suggestions - ellen

No, they are not the same.
Windows Mail came with Vista and was a replacement for Outlook Express.
Windows Live Mail is an updated version of Windows Mail and has an
integrated calendar and also receives RSS feeds.

Why do you say you are asked to change?
And what insert?

What exactly is asking you to change, and how is it phrased?
You will only have Windows Live Mail if you downloaded and
installed it.
