Machine wakes up when using hibernation

Hi,

I recently found out that my new computer seems to have a little
problem.
When I do a normal shutdown everythings totally fine.
As soon as I tell it to hibernate, it writes the content of the RAM to
disk and turns its power of.
Now the problem is that it turns itself on again in the middle of the
night.
At first I thought of all those power management features like "wake
on lan", "wake on usb", "wake on some other stuff". But since it only
powers itself on automatically after hibernation and NOT after a
normal shutdown this cannot be it.

Hope anyone can help since this is really annoying. I prefer
hibernation mode and wouldn't wanna miss it.

Thanks in advance

A mouse movement will wake a computer from standby mode. I'm not sure if it
does the same for hibernate, but it seems reasonable that it would. (Maybe
someone will confirm that a mouse movement will/won't wake a computer from
hibernation). Do you have a cat that might be brushing against the mouse
during the night? No cat-mouse joke was intended.
