lsass.exe sends my system down

hi!
While I do my DSL-Internet doings, a program named lsass.exe settled in the windows directory shuts my system inevitable down.
Can you tell me if that program means anything? Is it important for Windows XP. Which services do I have to allow to go through the firewall?
It's my just new XP-System!

You have the highly-publicized Sasser worm, which you got by
running without a firewall, and by not installing the Microsoft
critical updates.

First go to Start | Run and type shutdown -a

That will stop it from shutting down.

Then get the W32.Sasser Removal Tool (Line 321, Right hand side)
