Lost Program Icon

Greetings...

A co-worker installed Adobe Photoshop on her home pc and after the install,
she grabbed the main Photoshop program icon from the Start menu and drug it
to the desktop (or so she thought) instead of right clicking and selecting
Send to desktop (create a shortcut). After that, she is unable to find the
icon on the desktop and it no longer shows in the Start-All
programs-Adobe-Photoshop-(etc.)menu.

Any ideas as to where it might have gone or how to restore it to the Start
menu? If she can get it back to the Start menu, she can then right click and
send a shortcut to the desktop.

Thanks in advance for any and all help. It will be appreciated.

Right-click the desktop
Select New | Shortcut
Browse to the exe (e.g., "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop
CS\Photoshop.exe")
Give it a suitable name (e.g., "Photoshop").

Then hold CTRL and drag the new shortcut to the Start button.
Wait for the menu to open, then drag to All Programs.
Wait again, then drag into position.

Keep CTRL held to ensure a copy is made (otherwise the shortcut
will be moved).

If it's been drug(ged?) then it could be tied up in the back of
someone's car!

Re-running the install should put the icons back.

Otherwise look for the Photoshop exe file somewhere under C:\program
Files\adobe, create a shortcut to it (from a right-click) and drag that
on the Start Menu.
