Lost pics

I recently had a hard drive failure, on this drive I stored all of my Photos
and family video files. Thankfully I had back up copies Of everything bar
about 40 pictures. I have been using the comlementery version of Adobe
Photoshop album starter edition. which came free with some hardware, on this
program there are thumbnails of my lost pictures. My questions are this.
Where are these thumbnails stored. ( I ca'nt find them) and is it possible to
use an image resiser to reclaim the pics. any advise would be most welcome.

Thank You

These thumbnails are probably in a file in this folder made by Adobe or XP.
This would be a hidden file. To see it, open the folder and click on Tools,
Folder properties and View tab. Scroll down and check the box to display
hidden files. If made by XP, it would be thumbs.db file, however you need
special software to recover the image from this file and I really don't know
if resizing bring decent quality larger images.
