Lost Outlook Desktop Icon

Somehow I've lost the original desktop icon for Outlook on a Win98se
system. I can right click on the 'blank icon' and see properties but see no
way to get the icon back. I reinstalled MS Office from a backup but the
Outlook icon never reappeared after the installation.
Is there some way to get the icon back to cover the 'blank icon' which
replaced it?

Isn't there a place in the "repair" option where you can choose to
restore the original icons?

Which repair option are you referring to, under Add/Remove or somewhere
else?

Alan,
After I sent the note, I opened Outlook and it turns out that there is a
"repair" option in the Help section which allowed me to get the icon back.
All appears normal. Thanks for your suggestions.
On your reply address, I'm getting this:
microsoft.public.outlook.general,alt.religion.dake-bonoism Where's it
coming from?
