There's a bar running horizontally at bottom of screen in Windows XP. In the
lower left corner it says Startup. The icons that used to show up on the
right side of the bar horizontally are now bunched up and arranged verticley.
How can i get that startup toolbar or whatever it is back to default? thanks
Dorothy
Next to the clock? That area is called the "Notification Area," or

in the background.

Sorry, I don't understand this at all. Please describe precisely what
you are seeing?

Right click the taskbar and choose Properties.
On the Taskbar tab uncheck Group similar buttons.
