lost my e-mail notification in the taskbar !!!

Hi,
I probably made a mistake :-((
The small icon (letter) is no longer visible in the taskbar when a new mail
occurs.
How to restore it?

Do you use Outlook Express to read your email? If so, you may want to check
with the Outlook Express newsgroups for more assistance.

In any case, make sure that you have mail notification enabled (go to Tools
\ Options). Also double-check that the new mail icon is not designated to be
hidden - to check this, right-click the taskbar clock, go to Properties, and
click the Customize button.
