lost the outlook notification icon in the taskbar

Hi,
by mistake I probably clicked on the wrong function and now the "New mail"
notification icon disapeared from the taskbar.
I tried to restore it by using the Taskbar customization function, but it is
not possible.
Could somebody help me?
