Hello!
My problem is that when I start my Acer laptop it doesen't find the attached usb-mouse.
But when I unplug it and reattach it, it works just fine.

Why do I have to do this procedure every time?

USB is a strange and unpredictable beast, you may have to live with it.

Check the BIOS and see if there is an option to 'turn on legacy USB' support.

BIOS...hmm

Thank's for the reply.
Although, I belive that if I woluld fiddle with BIOS I'd be way out of my leage.
Isn't there any easy windows setting I might change?

Is this only a problem on laptops?
I would go crazy if I had to crawl under my desktop to unplug my mouse from a stationary PC at every startup.

If you are not comfortable with the BIOS then by all means leave alone. ;)

It is not a 'problem' with laptops, per sa, but more of one to do with USB ... your particular laptop is not 'seeing' the mouse until you un-plug & re-plug it back in.

Just live with it ... Acer are not particulary a good brand of anything they make, sorry. :(

PC's are another story. :D
