While working today I suddenly lost the contents of a
folder in My Docs. The Folder contained several files and
two subfolders, each with a number of files in them.
All of the files in the folder have vanished, one of the
subfolders vanished and the other still exists as a folder
but the contents have vanished. The files were excel and WORD.
When I run a file search I can find the files. It shows
them as being where they were. I can open them from the
search results. When I do a save as they show that they
exist in the C: drive, right where they belong. If I try to
save them as the same name I get a message that they
already exist.
All of the same happens when I use recent docs. to open the
files.
Any suggestions?
