I'm using a Linksys DMA2200 MC extender since quite a while, in combination
with a Vista Ultimate PC. Never had an issue.
Since a few days, the MCE has lost the connection with the PC and requests a
new set up. When doing that on the PC, MC reports that it can't find the
extender.
I have disabled both windows firewall and Norton 360v2's firewall but the
problem remains. UPnP is enabled. I've tried it it all ways I could find but
without success.
The only thing that seems odd is that mcrdsvc.exe and mcxnettw.exe, which
are referred to in the firewall setup recommendations, seem not present on my
PC.
Anybody any idea where to look for?
