Lost connect to

On Start - I'm sure I had a Connect To option, it seems to have disappeared,
is there a setting for this?

Right click Start and select Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to Network Connections and select "Display as Connect to menu".

I am in Standard view because Franks suggestion worked.
