Hi ...I have a laptop with on board Intel 10/100 pro M adapter.
The laptop is a dual boot with Linux Ubuntu.
No problem with Linux , the laptop connects to the network OK.
BUT ....in Win XP ....I cant seem to set a network connection , or set
up a network using the wizards. However if i plug in my wireless adapter
, USB Netgear Ma 111 , no problem .The wireless adapter shows up in the
network connections and I connect to the network.
All this thru a Linksys router and a Broadband modem.
I've tried power down/ up on the router , and direct connect the Modem
to the laptop ( to try Internet connection ) but no luck .
I'd just like to know why the adapter doesn't show up in the "Network
Connections" window.
I' also stopped all firewalls doing this.
So why the Linux boot connects and the Win XP not ??

OK I fixed it , uninstalled the adapter and re booted . WinXP
reinstalled it , and it's working again. Must have got corrupted
somewhere along the line.
