Loss of Folders in Windows Mail

Have turned on Windows Mail and have lost my folders (Inbox, Outbox, etc)
complete with all e-mails in them. Any ideas please as to where they have
gone and how to get the folders back.

yes. No matter what layout I ask for makes no difference. All I have is
Inbox showing but when I click on it it will not open although if I right
click on it and look in properties it says there are 6 messages in there. Am
now having trouble receiving and sending messages. Will not send messages
until I close program down then it sways messages in outbox do you want to
send them.

Which antivirus program are you using?
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee
or Norton security programs. Those will need to be
uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
