Losing messages

Hi I am using MSN 6.2 with MSN Plus! on Windows XP. i
can connect login to MSN without any problems but
sometimes I cannot receive messages sent to me after the
other party has sent it. What could be possible
explanations? Thanks

Just to be curious, if you click the Tools menu, then Options, then Connection tab, what does
it say under Connection Status?

Thanks for the reply,

Under the connection status in Connection Preferences, it
reads "Your Internet connection will automatically be
detected. Change these settings only if you have trouble
with the default connection settings." Under Current
Setting, it reads "You are directly connected to .NET
Messenger Service.", and in Advanced Connection
Information it says "You are connected to the Internet
through a non-UPnP port restricted NAT. (Administrator)"
