Hi I have set up my windows mail to send and recieve my work emails.

Recieving is quick but i have had to up the server cut out timing until 3
minutes in order to send email via smtp.

Any solutions?

You might ask here to see if it's a problem with the servers:

Also, what if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause
assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

Make sure your antivirus is not configured to scan emails.
Also, Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee and
Norton security programs. Those will need to be uninstalled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like:

AVG free edition:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff
or
Avast free edition:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.
