Logon to Windows 2000

Karin

Please help. I've been given a laptop which is loaded with
Windows 2000. Problem is, I don't know any logon ids or
passwords as the original owner has long since left. The
system was apparently configured to logon to a preset
domain. I just need to logon to this machine and get to a
windows desktop. Is there any way I can bypass or reset
the id/password? (It's the Windows id/pw, not logon pw
which is set in Bios). If I can avoid rebuilding the
machine, that'd be great.
Thanks..
