Logon password

Ok, I don't want to have a "wellcome screen", so I deselect it from the
"change the way the users log on a nd off" menu.

But I don't want to get the box that asks for my password either. I only
have one user account and I don't want to use a password, so when I turn on
the PC, I just want it to start windows, and not wait for me to hit enter to
skip the password.

Any ideas how to cancel this password question totally ?

Start
Press Run
Type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes
Hit Enter
UNTICK the box that says Users must enter a username and password to use the
computer
Click APPLY
Enter in the username you want to use as default
Enter in the password twice
Click OK
