logon error

I am facing problem with W2K server when ever I logon from
W2K client. It is loging using cached credentials but
loging in event log with error "Windows cannot determine
the user or computer name. Return value (1722)." because
of this, I feel, I can not access some of the server
applications / services.
please help me

Make sure that your DNS settings are configured to point to the DNS server
that has the zone for your AD namespace.
