Login Script

I have installed windows 2000 server with active
directory onto a test machine and I am trying to run a
login script attached to a user account. I would like to
know where to place the test.bat login script on the
server. Typically I am used to putting it under the
script folder under the directory c:\winnt\system32
\repl\import in an NT environment. also if you have a
sample script that would also be appreciated.

Thanks

You put it on the netlogon share. In Windows 2000 it is located in
%systemroot%\SYSVOL\sysvol\spin.si\scripts
If your clients are Win 2000/XP/2003 then you could look into assiging logon
scripts to users trough Group Policy Objects. What do you want this script
to do ?

Matjaz,
Should I have this directory structure in place because
my Sysvol folder is empty.

then see your event log if you have any errors. Your sysvol should contain a
structure of different folders. Are you pointing your DNS configuration on
the server to the internal DNS server ? run dcdiag and netdiag from support
tools to check your domain.
