Logical D:

I want to delete my logical D: drive and after that expand my C: drive to
regain the space from D:
Can I do that in Vista? So it will boot afterwards.

Or shall I use Partition Magic 8? And again, will it boot correct
afterwards?

Hi,

If it's physically after C:, then all you need do is delete it and extend C:
using the disk manager (diskmgmt.msc). If it is anywhere else, you'll need a
third party utility them around so it is. I use BootIT NG for these
purposes, but there are others. Be aware that if you move C:, then you may
need to run a startup repair by booting the Vista DVD as the start of the
booting partition will have moved and the mbr may be incorrect.

By the by, if D: is your system recovery partition, you want to make sure
you have some other means of recovering the system should things go awry.
