Logging into Remote desktop

I tried setting up my remote desktip to connect to my office pc. When I key
in the computer name, the Domain automatically reflects the computer name.
Please tell me how to change the domain name when it is greyed (cannot
change)?

Not sure I understand what you are seeing/saying.

You click on the Start button, select "RUN", type in:

mstsc

Click OK and the client runs.

Are you trying to say you cannot type any address you want into that client?
