log on to Exchange server connection fails

The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server
computer has failed.

that is the error i am receiving. directly at the
server. why wont it log into the exchange? how do i fix?

More info would help, such as your version of Exchange, SP level, Windows &
SP versions, any error messages in your app event log, whether all Exchange
services are started, etc - but you should post that info to
microsoft.public.exchange.admin - this is a Windows newsgroup.
