LocalService and NetworkService

Using WinXP SP2. My original Documents and Settings folder contained
only 4 users, Administrator, All Users, Default User and my personal
user folder. Now it appears that a LocalService and a NetworkService
user has been added. Not sure how or when this happened but are they
necessary and can I delete them? TIA for any information.

Actually those two items, in my experience have always been there it is when
we allow hidden files and folders to be seen to we; the users actually see
them. In my experience it is not a good idea to delete those.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense since I recently made the System
Information folder visible while investigating some malware problems.
I'll disable that and see what happens.

Thanks for the response. I just remembered that I had enabled
visibility for the System Information folder while investigating some
malware issues. I disabled that and the 2 folders were again hidden.
Any information on what LocalService and NetworkService are used for?
