local page does not match Published page

I created a website using a template. The buttons on my local page are not
the same as on the published page. Also, while the time and date changes on
my local page, it stays the same on the publishd page. When I choose "Open
your remote website in Front Page" everything looks fine - ie, all the
updates are there and the time and date are correct, but when I go to the
actual page in my browser, it is the same old file. I also tried clearing my
cache, but that did not help.

Are you sure you are using the correct home page file name that your host requires
- when you open the online site and select File Preview in browser (from your home page) what do you see

Some servers and ISPs (AOL) cache pages

My host is Comcast. The page looks fine and works right when I preview it.
The icons next to the links are from the Front Page theme I selected and at
the bottom it says the date and time of the last update. However, when I
close out of Front Page and open the browser and go to the site (using either
IE or Firefox) the icons are different and the page still is showing a date
from two days ago. The only way I can get it to reset is to remove the date
and time and then reinstall it. I can't fix the icons, though. If it is a
cache at the host, how do I clear it?
