Loading XP from USB Flash Drive

Hello, I'm trying to install XP from a USB Flash Drive. I am a system
builder and we load XP all the time from CDs. I think it would be much
faster from a flash drive. Does Microsoft offer anything like this for
system builders? Is it even possible? I tried for a few hours to get
it to work including downloading the 6 floppy disks and trying to use
them to get the drive to boot into Windows Setup. I have also tried
using the boot sectors/code from the XP CD on the flash drive using
BART PE tools. I can not get it to work. I would imagine because the
boot sectors for a CD to boot into setup are different then that of a
flash device. Can anyone help me with this? I don't understand why it
has not been done yet. It seems logical to me and faster to use a
flash device now that PCs can boot from them. Please Help!

Try using Synergix imageIT http://www.synergix.com. You can make a DOS
bootable USB drive (contact (e-mail address removed), if you need help) and
restore Windows 2000/ XP /Vista / 2003 images from the USB device
